God made men to provide and by praying for provision through him you can support his need to provide for his family. This includes his health and physical well being as well as the security of the company that he works for and for favor in the eyes of those over him. Praying for provision for our family is also a way in which we, many as stay at home mothers, can feel a part of that aspect of life. We can support our husband through prayer, our actions, and our words as they fulfill the role of provider for their family.
Day 8- Pray that your husband will work hard to provide for your family, to the best of his ability. Pray that the character qualities necessary for a successful career and ministry will be a growing part of his character – persistence, decisiveness, strength, an analytical mind, organizational skills, positive relationships with people, determination, etc.
Rom. 12:11 Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit,[a] serve the Lord.
1 Cor. 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
