We as humans are just sinful, evil beings on our own. We need the strength and grace of our Savior to make it in this filthy world. Praying for protection over our families but even more so over our husbands helps them to stand strong when temptations come. And they will come. We can’t avoid them but you can help your spouse stand strong against them and rise above them.
Day 6- Pray that your husband will love righteousness and hate wickedness, especially the evils of the culture. Pray that he will recognize and avoid wickedness in his own life, and if necessary, take a clear, strong stand against evil. Show your love to your husband by praying for protection over his life both physically and spiritually.
Proverbs 27:12 The prudent sees danger and hides himself,
but the simple go on and suffer for it.
John 17:15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
1 Cor. 10:12-13 Therefore let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
