In our current culture many marriages fail. We see people married for decades suddenly grow apart and divorce. We are constantly bombarded with sexually appealing images, videos, commercials, and more. Faithfulness seems to be a dying trend. And Satan is behind all of it. He wants to see marriages fail and people to live in selfishness. One of the most powerful tools that we as wives have against this pull on our husbands is PRAYER!!! Praying for a lifetime with our man is vital and effective. As you pray your heart is always pulled back to him. Kind of hard to “fall out of love” when you spend time praying for someone to be faithful isn’t it? Today as you pray, pray for your husband and yourself. A lifetime of faithfulness goes both ways.
Day 5- Pray that your husband will be faithful to his wedding vows. Pray that he will have a desire to cultivate your relationship as a sign of his loyalty and commitment to you, and as a picture of Christ’s love for the Church.
