So, as the years have passed I have changed at how I looked at the set up of my home. I used to plan everything according to what was “normal” or “in style” at the time. But then as the years passed something more important drove me to restyle my home, move furniture around and exchange framed artwork for finger paintings and school posters.
And that thing is LIFE.
But now I need your help. I just don’t know about this move.
With more and more children around the table for school I was finding it very hard to navigate my dining room. Chairs pulled out on both sides of the table made it almost impossible for momma with a baby on her hip to fit through there.
So the other day I moved the table over to one side. But I’m just not sure about it. I can’t move it too far or we can’t get to the chairs so in some ways it isn’t even noticable in these photos.
My rocker sits at that corner on the left side of the photo. |
What do you think? Does it look weird? Normally my glider rocker sits at the corner of the living room wall and the dining room but it is broken right now so it is missing from these pictures.
I’d like to here your thoughts on how this looks. Can you help me?
No it doesn’t look weird at all! I was actually thinking that you should move it to one side a little more, so obviously it doesn’t look like you did. Sometimes there is not much you can do unless you switch things around completely and stop using it as a dining room.
not weird at all. i do that in my kitchen too – sometimes practicality wins over style when there are a lot of bodies in a house ;)
It doesn’t look weird at all… it actually looks awesome!! Beautiful space!!! God bless you & don’t spend too much time with “worry”… do a search on the Word… it’ll break that habit! LOL God bless you & yours!!!
I really can’t tell. It looks just fine to me.
I actually thought you were alittle crazy when I first looked at the pictures and you said you changed something. lol. Only you would stress over moving a table not even a food closer to 1 wall than the other. :D
