I most certainly did NOT stop when my newborn spit up all over the dining room floor and then continue on my way thinking, “I will get that in a minute” only to come back in several hours to find it dried on the wood.
I did NOT spend almost all day Saturday spending time with my family and not doing anything on my “to do” list. Which I do NOT really consider wasting time at all. But investing into things and people that I care and love deeply.
I most certainly was NOT up all night last night going from my newborn to my two year old and back again. Only a crazy mother would give up that much sleep just to keep her kids sleeping and feeling safe.
I already have my Christmas cards mailed and I am sure they are delivered already. That is why I am NOT mailing them today, only three days before Christmas.
As if I didn’t have enough on my plate I most certainly did NOT keep an extra child all night Friday night and all day Saturday. My kids had a great time but the kept me busy!!
I have four children, one of which is still not sleeping through the night, so I most definitely did NOT plan a gathering at our house last Thursday, keep a friend’s child over the weekend, have Christmas services on Sunday, plan a date night with my hubby on Tuesday, and then invite the whole church to my house after Christmas Eve service. That would be just suicidal, I am NOT going to make all those plans.
Well, I feel better now. Being so honest and open with everyone sure is refreshing. Now I would love to hear what crazy things you did NOT do this past week. Have fun with this!
Crazy, and I’m sure overwhelming as it was for you, thanks again for letting Jenna come over while we Christmas shopped.
