I started with a batch of apples from the produce stand.
All I did was wash them and quarter them. Then I threw them in a pot with just about a cup of water in the bottom.
I started them cooking on medium heat and stirred them occasionally. I let them cook for about an hour or so.
Once all of the apples were soft I poured them in batches into the food mill. I kept working it through until all that was left were the peels and seeds.
After that I returned it to the pot and and seasoned it with about 1/4 cup of sugar and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
