Josiah found this hat in the store the other day and told Grandma that he wanted it. She tried to show him other things and even other hats but for some reason this is the one he wanted. He wears it ALL the time now.

Well the garden started out slow this summer but it finally took off. It has filled the freezer and the shelves with surplus for this winter. It has kept us busy but it has been well worth it.

Samantha had a blast camping. She played in the huge field that was behind our campsite and she loved the cool park we visited. At the fair she rode the ferris wheel with Maggie and the cars with Josiah. She loved both rides. Samantha loves it outside so camping was right up her alley.

We had a great time camping for vacation this year. We played at a super cool park and watched a parade that was the longest one the girls had ever seen. Then we visited a super cool fair and the kids got to ride rides. Maggie choose the swings. She rode them all by herself.

Maggie celebrated her birthday with just family this year. She loved her gifts and seemed to enjoy helping mommy decorate her cake. She is getting so big. She will be starting 1st grade this year!!! That is so hard to believe.

Well, today marked another year of growth and development for Josiah. While his second year was full of many good times and lots of memories and laughs he couldn’t let us off completely without incident.
