A Reason To Celebrate

I am so pleased and excited to announce that last night my husband was priviledged to lead our first born in her desicion to accept Christ as HER Lord and Saviour. No words can describe the feeling a parent has when their child makes that choice and takes what you have taught into her heart and makes an eternal choice. Tonight we are rejoicing with angels for another child has come into the kingdom.

Psalm 85:6-8 (New International Version)
6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7 Show us your unfailing love, O LORD, and grant us your salvation.
8 I will listen to what God the LORD will say; he promises peace to his people, his saints— but let them not return to folly.

I pray tonight that this choice that she has made will change her life forever. I pray that God would keep her close to him and that she will follow Him with all her heart. That she will allow Him to be her Lord and that His laws will govern her life always. As troubles come and heartache touches her gentle spirit that she will allow it to strengthn her faith in Him and not to turn her away. I pray that the joy she feels now will continue for the rest of her life no matter what the world tells her she should feel. Thank you God for my salvation and for the salvation of my oldest daughter. I continue to pray for the salvation of my other children as I rejoice in the salvation of this one.
