Not Me Monday

Well, my heart is in a different place this morning so this “Not Me Monday” will be a little different.

It is “not me” whose heart is heavy this morning with the feeling of loss. I am missing a friend lost a few months back. Will it ever get any easier?

It is “not me” who is totally blessed by the wonderful church family that I now have. They are a great support and encouragement. The way that they work together and everyone uses their talents and gifts for the betterment of the church is amazing to watch. I am so blessed. I mean, I would be so blessed if that was actually me!

It is “not me” who misses her sister that is serving our country miles and miles away. She is where God wants her I know, but I wish God wanted her here!

It is “not me” that is just kind of having a “downer” day so far. I am turning on my praise music and getting started on this house. Praying that I will allow God to speak to my heart and fill me with His praise.

With garden produce overflowing my kitchen and still in my garden it is “not me” that is totally overwhelmed with the chore of taking care of it all. But it is really a great reward for the countless hours in the heat.

My children did “not” have the best time on Saturday at a really cool park that we visited. I am “not” totally blessed by the gifts that God has given me through my children. Check out the pictures in the previous post to see for yourself.

Well, there you have it. Anything you would like to get off your mind this morning? Or just enjoy reading about others struggles/embarrassing moments/personal confessions then hop on over to MckMama’s Blog and read more.

  1. Praying for you this morning. Lots of things I’d like to say to encourage you, but I won’t go in to them on the internet. Maybe I’ll call you later. Just know you are loved and that it will get better.

  2. I love the way your blog looks. It’s super cute.
I’ll pray for you today. I’m having a downer day too.
I hope your day gets better.
You should ask Josiah to dance for you. That kid always cracks me up when he dances.

  3. Amanda-I saw your comments on the Blog Frog about that whole feminist line of bull.

DONT let them get to you. Do they not sound JUST like the enemy trying to weave his lies into what we know to be as Truths??

You are RIGHT. You are absolutely RIGHT. Everything you have said is as God has told us… it is so threatening to the enemy… we must stand strong in our faith.

I think you are brave to say those things to people who are not believers… I hope your heart can stand the abuse they are dishing out.

Be strong dear sister in Christ!!!

    You will be vindicated!

    Blessings-
    Amanda
