You know those super fun punching bags that you fill with water at the bottom and when you hit it, it falls down and then bounces back up?
Well Josiah got one for Christmas and he loved it! But it shortly got a hole in the “water” compartment and so I decided to fill the bottom with some extra rice and lentils that I had.
It worked beautifully! It was heavy enough to make it “bounce” but it didn’t leak out of the hole. Everyone was happy and life was good.
Until……
Someone decided to pull the plug. Literally! Then Katherine decided it was her job to spread lentils ALL over the carpet (It couldn’t have been the hardwood floor that covers most of our home. That could have been easily swept!).
But as I vaccumed and vaccumed and vaccumed some more, I just kept thinking…
“At least it wasn’t water!!”
