I’ve been thinking a lot about the day in and day out dealings of a large family. They really are much different than your “average” size family. For instance, many mothers have never….
- Used an entire loaf of bread in one meal for just their family
- Poured milk in everyone’s glass and over their cereal only to look down and see the brand new gallon of milk almost empty.
- Done 7 loads of laundry in one day and still not finished it all.
- Looked online for plans to build bunk beds three beds high.
- Bought ketchup in a one gallon container.
- Bought 25 lbs of oatmeal.
- Looked at the number of snacks contained in a package and thought, that’s crazy it would only go around once and it’s $2!!
- Used an entire 2 liter of soda in one meal.
And yet, this is my life. Every day, day in and day out I find myself laughing about some crazy thing my family does or requires. I know this life isn’t for everyone and that doesn’t make you right or my right or anyone wrong. It just makes us different and that is fine. And no matter what your family size or structure, I sure do hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine!! Have a blessed day serving the family God has blessed you with.
