Spring Sibling Photo Session

This spring sibling photo session was a ton of fun and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Beautiful weather. Beautiful children. And lots of fun. Yes, these are my children. They are growing so quickly that I can’t believe it. It seems to happen before my eyes each and every day. I am so grateful for the opportunity that I have been blessed with to be able to be with them and teach them day in and day out.

Motherhood is hard, exhausting work to be sure. But it is so worth it. One of these days these children will leave home and be world changers for sure. I love watching them interact with each other. Their relationship changes all the time but they are so close and so connected that is makes my heart smile.

A family this size isn’t for everyone I realize but I wouldn’t change this life for anything. This year Maggie will be 12, Samantha, 10; Josiah, 8; Katherine, 6; Jeremiah, 4; and Elizabeth, 1.

Maggie is growing in to a beautiful young lady before my eyes. She has a heart of gold and is going to do amazing things in her life. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for her. I know it will be life changing and amazing. She is already able to take a room full of toddlers and occupy them for an hour, or complete a day of school with her baby sister on her lap. She loves to cook, bake, play the piano and sing.

What can I say about this little bundle of joy. What you see here is so typical for her. She is a bucket of smiles and a ray of sunshine each and every day. She is crawling now and is 9 months old. She still doesn’t care much for solid foods but still loves to nurse as much as a newborn. Watching her grow is an amazing privilege and I am beyond grateful that God choose me to be her mommy.

Samantha is my creative athletic daughter. She can teach herself anything she sets her mind to and can do it with amazing ease. She has learned to crochet, knit, embroidery, and more! She loves to climb and tumble and run and explore. At 10 years old she is just beginning to learn more about herself and her world but with her sensitive spirit she will impact lives for years to come.

Oh my goodness. This little ball of energy and stubbornness has stolen my heart and yet tests my patience each and every day. He is all boy and then some. Rough and tumble all day long and snuggle and cuddle each evening is how he rolls right now. He will make you laugh with his amazing facial expressions and he loves to be the center of attention.

My firstborn son and the most amazing young man I know. He is helpful and opens doors for his momma. He loves spies and exploring and building Legos and reading. He can be quiet and soft-spoken and then in a moment be the loudest, craziest goofball that you have ever seen.

This amazing 5 year old learned to read this month and is doing math too! She loves learning and is amazing in the kitchen. She always has a chair pulled up to the counter to “help” me. She loves to make cookies for those she cares about and wants to be a mommy when she grows up. Finger nail polish and princess dresses one moment, and frogs and dirt the next. She is a great mix of all things childhood.
