Mommy, You are important

To every Mommy,

I know that I may not always make good choices and there are days that I push your buttons and act like I am out to derail all of your best efforts to teach me right from wrong, but I want you to know something. You are very important to me. My entire world revolves around you and what you think of me is more important to me than anything else in my world. Mommy you are important.

I may never say it for years to come, but “Thank You”. I want you to know that your seemingly endless work is noticed. And one day I will look back and be so grateful for all you have done for me. Your job is tiring and dirty. Runny noses, sweaty socks, dirty hands, and stinky diapers are just a few of the things you face each day. And yet, you always smile at me. You seem so happy. And I love seeing you happy. It makes me feel happy.

Please remember that no matter people may say or what you may think you are the most beautiful woman on earth. Your heart is soft for others and you actions show your love, but your smile is perfect and I fit just perfect against your body when you hug me. You are perfect on the inside and the out. To me, there is no one better. So, smile today mommy, feel beautiful, and please know mommy, you are important to me.
