This homemade breakfast pizza is easy to make up on a weekend morning or make a double batch and freeze it for those busy weekday mornings! It had enough protein to keep you moving all morning and lots of flavor to leave you satisfied. Eggs, meat, cheese, and gravy all work together to make this breakfast pizza stand head and shoulders above a bowl of cereal any morning.
The steps are simple and most you have done countless times before. Start by making scrambled eggs the way your family loves them. Then follow the directions and recipe for my simple Homemade Country Gravy. You will also need a batch of pizza crust. You can use refrigerated dough, crescent rolls, or my favorite homemade pizza crust recipe.
Now you can assemble your breakfast pizza. Roll out your choice of crust onto a cookie sheet, spread the homemade country gravy onto the crust and top with your scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage or even Canadian bacon, veggies and cheese. The possibilities are endless! Once your pizza is assembled pop it into the oven and bake according to your crust choice directions. Once it is baked you are ready to enjoy!!!
But what I really love about this homemade breakfast pizza is that it is a super easy freezer cooking recipe. Once the pizza is cooked, allow it to cool on the counter. Then cut it into pieces and place them on a cooling rack. Place the cooling rack into the freezer until the pieces are frozen firm (about 2 hours). Move the pieces to a freezer bag or container and save for a busy morning. I like to pop my pieces into a toaster oven or microwave or even the oven for several children. I love feeling good about what my children eat on a busy morning and this is a great option! I hope you and your family enjoy this breakfast pizza as much as mine does.
