I want to take a moment on Thanksgiving Day and tell you, dear sisters, how thankful I am for you. Your faithful reading and comments have helped to make this blog possible. I am humbled beyond words with how this blog has grown over the years. Even through the “quieter” seasons you all hang in there with me. And for that I am forever thankful for you.
The children have been busy decorating the house for Thanksgiving and I want to share with you some of their art work. As well as our family “Thankful Turkey”. I loved the way that this turned out this year The children have enjoyed writing things that they are thankful for on the little “feathers” and then we tape them to the wall around our turkey. His feathers are getting fuller and he is becoming just beautiful. And I love seeing what my children write down and how they share their heart.
I pray that you are blessed with a wonderful weekend of family time. We will have the privilege to see my sister who lives in Arkansas. She will finally get to meet Elizabeth! I can’t wait. We will also be butchering pigs this weekend so I will have the blessing of filling our freezer again. That is always such a great feeling. On Thursday we will see all of Joe’s siblings and have lunch with them. It will be a great weekend! Enjoy your time with your family and friends and I will “see” you again on Monday.
