And here it is, the first post in the Welcome Baby event here on Our Heart and Home. And today’s post features a company new to me but that I have already come to love. Dry Mama was started by a mom just like you and I and the product that they create is amazing! Dry Mama nursing pads are different than others that I have seen before. If you have read here long or know me in real life you know what a huge part breastfeeding is to my parenting style. I love extended nursing (18 months+ is my goal) and everything about that wonderful season. But with nursing comes the need for good protection to keep mama dry and happy too! I can’t wait to snuggle our new little girl and enjoy those quiet nursing moments but I also know that if history repeats itself I will need good protection because I usually produce enough milk for an army in those first few weeks.
The Dry Mama pads were designed by a nursing mom who quickly found that most pads on the market are not very flattering or useful. They bunch, leak, get soggy, and show under most shirts. So, she set out to make a better option for us all. And I truly think that she has. The shape of these pads is unlike any other I have seen and that really helps to make them truly “invisible” no matter what shirt I worn them under. The colors are bright and bold which adds a touch of “fun to them too.
Dry Mama Nursing Pads can be bought from their store in either blue or pink lined. And since they are washable and reusable once you buy them you won’t find yourself running to the store before church one morning because you ran out and going “without” was NOT an option. I for sure would not know anything about such a last minute run.

I think I’m at about 102 months (7 children nursed so far for various times each child).
I nursed for 58 months(3 children).
The best I can remember is 62 months nursing my 6 children and still going strong :)
well I’m at 14months and going strong while expecting #2!
Hmm I guess only 48 months. My first two messed up the average because I worked and didn’t breastfeed them long. Still going at 21 months with my littlest, though!
Baby is due any day now….. So hopefully many to come!
I have nursed39 months. I would love to win this to give to my sister expecting her first baby on August 24th!
16 months! I had issues with my milk supply so I dried out after 8 months with both kids despite taking all the meds I could and using a hospital grade pump.
