So we are getting back into the daily life of a homeschooler. There are books all over my table and pencils on every flat surface. We are using words like history, handwriting, and study. Here in Missouri we can officially start our logging for the new year on July 1st and we are doing just that to get some of this year under our belt before Baby Girl gets here in a few weeks. I don’t plan on taking much time off but I also know that sometimes newborns don’t “play” by our rules or plans so I want the freedom to be flexible if we need it.
So over the next few weeks I will be correcting math problems, yelling out the spelling of words from the kitchen sink and spending lots of time at my kitchen table (our school zone). And while we still have a week of Bible School and Church Camp coming up we are getting done what we can for now. Do you have any fun plans for the last part of summer or are you back to school already too?
