Maggie – 10 Wants to be – Manicurist |
Maggie turned 10 this summer! She is growing and maturing so quickly. I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming. She is so helpful around the house, at church, and with others too. She loves her Savior Jesus Christ and strives to please Him each and every day. I can’t wait to see what God has planned for her life. I know it will be big!! She has more spiritual maturity than most adults I know.
Samantha – 8 years Wants to be – Be a Missionary |
Samantha Jo turned 8 this year. She is a fireball of energy and a million questions. She never misses a beat and doesn’t forget anything even the things you wish she would. She love tumbling and climbing and has a gift for all things gymnastics. We are hoping to get her in a class really soon. She loved watching the Olympics this summer. Her love for others and for Christ keep her busy as she serves where she sees a need. I am so proud of her soft heart toward those in need. I know it is hard on her to be so compassionate at times when she can’t fix a hurt but I also know that Christ can use a soft and moldable heart more than a hard one. I love you Samantha Jo!
Josiah – 6 years Wants to be – Doesn’t know |
My firstborn son Josiah turned 6 this year. How the years change so quickly and while he still bears physical scars from his NICU ordeal you couldn’t tell he was ever sick in any other way.I love how he strives each day to become a “man” and to take care of me and his siblings while Daddy is at work. He opens the door for us, lets us go first (most of the time) and can work harder with his Dad than some men I know. He loves tools, exploring, and adventures. He is asking many questions about salvation and that has both his dad and I pretty excited.
Katherine – 4 years Wants to be – A checker at a store |
Oh Baby Kate! We really can’t use this name anymore, but it still makes my heart smile because it speaks of how many lifes this little girl has touched already. She loves to help and has made me proud numerous times at church offering to carry bags and Bibles to the car for our eldery members or for the mommies that have lots to carry. She loves to mother the babies and is best friends with her baby brother. She is already learning to read and blows me away with her understanding and use of words. She can be a stubborn little thing but if she uses that determination right she is a huge help me around the house! I love you my Katherine.
And yes, I am missing Jeremiah but his birthday isn’t for another month and I will do his post after that. I was already late enough posting these birthdays so I decided to go ahead and post these now.
Beautiful!
I really enjoyed reading about each of your special children. I will be anxious to see how God uses each one of my third cousins for His glory.
Hoping to see all of you on the 20th for the reunion.
Hugs
