Apple Bread

This past fall I put up a whole mess of shredded apples in my freezer. I have been trying new ways to use up these sweet things. And not too long ago I found one of our favorite ways yet! I came across this recipe and let me tell you, it is amazing!!! I froze one loaf and we have eaten the other. It is so good the next day, chilled in the fridge overnight and spread with butter. You really should give this a try!!

  1. I tried a version of this recipe yesterday. I replaced all the butter with applesauce, all the sugar with brown sugar (will try sucanat next time) and used the pressure cooked apples I had put up over the summer. It was delicious!
